Give as you earn

Ask your workplace about the Give As You Earn Scheme (GAYE)

The Joe Glover Trust can make a positive difference to hundreds of lives each year, One of the simplest ways to give is through Payroll Giving, also known as Give As You Earn (G.A.Y.E.). Signing up to this scheme means your employer deducts your donation from your salary before tax, which means your gift costs you less.

This is a tax efficient way of donating to the charity straight from your salary. Under this scheme, donations are taken from your pre tax salary and benefit from full income tax relief meaning a £10 donation will only cost basic rate taxpayers £8, higher rate tax payers £6 and 50% taxpayers £5

Many employers will also match your contribution meaning your £8 contribution could earn our charity £20. If your employer doesn’t already offer this scheme, it’s worth raising it with your HR Manager
Talk to your colleagues or boss about giving just a few pounds per month from your pay.

If ten people from your organisation gave just £5 per month that’s £600 per year to the Trust.
